The National Sports Council under The Chiropractic Association (Singapore), an affiliate of FICS (International Federation of Sports Chiropractic) was reactivated in 2025. The FICS General Assembly in March 2025 ratified our Singapore NCSC (National Chiropractic Sports Councils) inclusion as an Ordinary Member under the FICS statutes. Singapore thus successfully joined six other countries in the Asia region (https://fics.sport/asia-2/).

As of June 2025, there are 10 of our members who are also members of this Council. Individually, our chiropractors have served National and foreign athletes in their personal capacity, at games as well as sports events.

Our objectives:

a) Promoting understanding and acceptance of sports chiropractic services by athletes, coaches, administrators, other members of the sports medicine team and the general public.
b) Establishing good working relations with other healthcare professions.
c) Promoting high standards of practice, education and research.
d) Meeting the needs of members in a timely and effective manner.
e) Providing opportunities for members to increase their professional skills and knowledge.
